Toddler Activities Week of 2009-12-20
It is Christmas week, and I am trying not to freak out as I type that. I am knee deep in homemade Christmas presents. Thankfully, Kieran’s presents are all accounted for; my family’s, on the other hand, are not. (Sorry guys! You’ll get stuff eventually.)
Even though I’m going to be a sewing fool in the next four (gasp!) days, Kieran and I will still make time to do some fun activities. Here is a run down of our week:
Sunday: on Monday we have a cookie exchange with friends, so today we will be making some Cream Cheese Cutout Cookies.
Monday: we have Monday Funday with our friends Jax and Sarah – we’ll be painting some Salt Dough Ornaments that we made last week (pictures to follow!), then we’ll have the cookie exchange.
Tuesday: Bird Seed Biscuits
Wednesday: Felt snowmen/Christmas trees
Thursday: Christmas Eve! We will likely be making Christmas cards and nametags.
Friday: we will spend Christmas Day with my family
Saturday: plans aren’t firmed up yet, but I imagine we will be with Tom’s family the day after Christmas
What are your plans this week?

I don’t envy you your busy week! I’m just homeschooling my kids and picking up a few last odds and ends.
Stopping by from SITS and I love the picture in this post. It’s beautiful.
Thank you :) Kieran had so much fun hanging up ornaments, I’m glad we got a few shots.
Wow! What a busy week. I hope you have a great one with your little one. Merry CHRISTmas to you and your family! Stopping by from SITS.
Thank you! Hope yours is blessed as well!
Boy, you have a busy week. Most of our weekly activities aren’t meeting due to the holidays this week. We have going to Chik Fil-A to make a jingle bell necklace on Tuesday.
I’m sure we will end up skipping at *least* one item on this list ;)
Bird seed biscuits?? I want to know about these, I bet my feathered friends would love them!!!
I’m sure they would ;)
My week will be filled with flying (today at 9pm, tomorrow at 10am), and then finding our hostel in Vienna. I think we’ll spend a whole day at the famous Christmas Market and then visit 2 museums and a palace the other days. We also have plans to read El Alquimista by Paolo Coelho, which is supposed to be fantastic! It looks like it’ll be a truly great week!
Love you! I’m jealous I won’t be able to eat the fruits of your and Kieran’s cookie escapades.
Shaddup. ;)
