Introducing Rhonin

My sister had her baby, and I was honored to be present for his birth. Rhonin Patrick was born on January 9, 2010 at 1:15a.m. He was 7 lbs, 12 oz and 21 inches long. Shawna decided to keep her beautiful baby perfect and whole, as nature intended – he will remain intact!

Congratulations to mama and baby – that was a whirlwind birth!

Kieran didn't want to put his new cousin down.

Kieran gave Rhonin lots of kisses (he esp. liked to give him Eskimo kisses).

Kieran was also excited to check for toejam (Rhonin was toejam-free).

   This breaks and lifts my heart all at the same time. I wish I could be there, but I’m so glad things went smoothly and you were all together. Di, you are a wonderful sister for helping to keep Shawna informed and educated about her options. Rhonin will surely thank you some day!
