Nursing in Public, with a Twist
Kieran and I needed to make a quick grocery store run last week, and he grabbed his stuffed penguin to come along for the ride.
While we were walking amongst the bedding things, I looked down at him and saw this:
Thank you, Kieran, for helping us normalize nursing in public.

I love you, kiddo.

That is awesome. Way to go, kiddo! And good for you, Mama!
That is too cute!
Awww, so cute! I’ve been really surprised that Sasha’s pretend play hadn’t jumped to nursing just yet. Her toys clap, hold hands, open the fridge and must share cookies and (cow’s) milk. No Mommy Milk just yet, but I am sure it is coming.
Cute! And I love penguins too!
But don’t eat those fresh veggies – they look like pillows to me. ;)
Ha! True that – I wrote this in a hurry ;) He did it both places, I snapped the picture in the pillow aisle. Must go correct!
Interspecies nursing in public too…Even BETTER :)
Adorable! Even penguins need a little milk sometimes : )
That is adorable!
That’s too cute. My son’s favorite nursing toy is also a stuffed penguin :)
How cute! I love it!
That is fantastic!
Love it! Enzo does this too :-).
your child is so sweet! I do believe it says a lot about the love that must surround him all the time.
I LOVE this.
And he’s wise too. He knows that when a baby needs to nurse it must be done.
Thank you Teresa! (But I can assure you he’s not always so gentle and nurturing ;))
So cute!!! I love it!! Of course I love EVERYTHING that little fella does!!!
This is fantastic. I only have a girl so I never thought of little boys nursing too! What a fantastic memory to capture.
I love it!
This reminds me of when Jac and I were at a natural parents playgroup on Wednesday. Jac it his face on the floor and cried while trying to crawl. My friend’s 3.5 year old son responded by saying to me, “Maybe you should try nursing him so he feels better.” I was SOOO impressed – and I followed his advice and he was absolutely right that it made Jac feel better ;-)
Sweet! I love it! You are raising a little man who will frown at NIP! Well done!
Love!!
This is the sweetest picture :)
Awesome!!!! That is just so increadably adorable! My 17 month old DD is at the “everyone and everything HAS to have mama milk” stage, but it’s me feeding them atm. She keeps offering it to my 6 year old DS who hasn’t nursed in 5 years LOL! He simply tells her he’s a BIG boy and has milk in a cup now. She also tells mama’s baby’s need “bah” when ever a baby cries! She got me in trouble on a train once by demanding a bottle feeding mama give “bah” made me laugh anyway!
This put a smile on my face. You just made my day! Thank you for sharing. Cynthia
This is SOOOO adorable! Thank you for sharing!
