How to Take a Blogging Break, But Keep Your Blog Going – Guest Post
Since I am on my babymoon, it is fitting that I have a guest post today at LaurenWayne.com called “How to Take a Blogging Break, But Keep Your Blog Going.” I wrote it while Lauren (also of Hobo Mama fame, and my partner in crime at Natural Parents Network) was contemplating her own babymoon, which she took this past June.
So if you are a blogger and need ideas to plan for a one-time or regular break at your own site, check out the six easy tips I shared.
But before you go, feel free to drool over my own babymoon yumminess for a moment. To the right is Miss Ailia Genevieve surrounded by adoring fans (my visiting family) at two days old.

Oh my gosh!! She’s so beautiful! I love how peaceful she looks. Oh boy… she looks like a wise woman already. Congratulations and enjoy your time with your family. xoxo
TY! She is a pretty peaceful little girl – except at 90% of her diaper changes ;)
I think this is possibly the sweetest little girl I have ever seen…and SO adored by Mama,Papa Big Brother, Grandmas and Grandpas, Aunts, Cousins…shoot EVERYONE loves that sweet bundle!!!
I think so ;)
Oh Dionna she is perfect! A beautiful morsel! Enjoy!
Thank you- she is pretty delicious looking :)
Oh, so sweet!
Thank you!!
What a sweet baby! She looks like she’s basking in the adoration, as well she should.
Thanks so much for guest posting for me in advance! ;)
Or in delay ;)
I’ve been feeling like taking a bit of a break from blogging, to get my act together on other fronts! I’m excited to check out your tips! Ailia is so beautiful – her happy little face is just so touching! (ps – she looks like YOU, mama!)
Aww, thank you mama :) I owe you a guest post don’t I? Feel free to solicit one for your break!
Dionna, I’m interested to know how you pronouce the name. I’m Irish, and it’s not one I recognise. Is it “Awl-ya”? That would be the Irish for beauty, spelled Aille in Irish. (Of course it could be some other word I’m not familiar with that’s a literary or older term for “light.”) Or do you say it more like “Eye-lia”?
Either way, she’s a beauty, and congratulations. Looking forward to hearing how big brother is taking the transition.
The pronunciation we’re using is AY-lee-ah, and the meaning is light! Thanks so much :)
Dionna, Ailia is beautiful and looks so content in the photo. Happy babymoon!
Thank you Zoie :)
Congrats on your sweet baby girl! Thanks for putting up this post too, even in the midst of your busy life. I try to work extra hard for a week or two and schedule two or three weeks posts in advance. That way I can take a nice break or work on another project.
oh my,she is sooo sweet :) xxx
