Wordless Wednesday: A Winter Walk
This past Monday we had unseasonably warm weather (again!), so we took a walk at the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. Tom took some great pictures!
Be sure to check out my other Wordless Wednesday picture over at Natural Parents Network, where the topic is “Bonding with Children.” You can link up your own WW post there too!”

Are you nursing in that last picture? I haven’t figured out how to nurse in the moby yet, obviously I’m doing something wrong. Would you share?
Kate – I am, but I do not consider myself an expert by any means. Sometimes Ailia (or Kieran when he was little) will nurse in a stretchy wrap, sometimes not. With the Baby K’tan (pictured), I have to partially remove one of the rings to nurse so that Ailia isn’t wrapped too tightly. With the Moby, I had to either loosen it more than usual, or take the wrap off one of my shoulders. Make sense? Here is a post I compiled on a stretchy wrap for NursingFreedom: http://www.nursingfreedom.org/2010/10/breastfeeding-while-babywearing-part-2.html
Perhaps I will fiddle with nursing in my two stretchy wraps and come up with some more suggestions!
Thanks for the link!
These are stunning! Kieran looks like a true outdoorsman.
Beautiful photos! It’s so nice that you’re getting such fun outdoors time all together in the middle of January!
Love the pictures! And her cute bundle of hair… so so so cute!!!
