I am thrilled to announce that Code Name: Mama and Natural Parents Network are hosting two FREE live telephone calls with Dr. Laura Markham of AhaParenting.com.

Dr. Laura has helped thousands of parents learn to connect with their children and discipline gently and effectively. If you are looking for ideas to help your child WANT to behave, rather than scaring him into compliance or breaking his will, Dr. Laura can help. You can find articles on her site on topics like “What’s So Bad About Bribing Your Child?,” “10 Tips for Parenting in Public,” “What If You Set a Limit and Your Child Ignores It?,” and more.

Dr. Laura is also publishing her first book: Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids: How To Stop Yelling and Start Connecting. Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 10:00pm EST – “Regulating Your Own Emotions”

Your own emotional wholeness will determine how deeply you can connect with your child. Dr. Laura will discuss how we can work on ourselves so that we can respond appropriately to and connect with our children.
